Sealed Envelope Process

The Sealed Envelope – Hand Carry –  from the Passport Acceptance Agent at the Post Office or Court House.

You are doing what is called a Hand Carry – such that instead of leaving the Sealed Envelope with the post office for them to do a slow walk process, you are instead given back the Sealed Envelope for the Hand Carry that you then take to our FedEx shipping store. The Hand Carry Policy is in the rulebook of the Acceptance Agent.

You must fulfill each of the requirements for the Sealed Government Envelope procedures. There are a few, easy steps to complete the process of having your personal identity and citizenship documents endorsed by the Acceptance Agent.

You will also be making out a $35 check to the Passport Acceptance Agent, who, by the way, will be a big help for you in confirming the quality and authenticity of your citizenship and identity documents. The envelope must be submitted to the Passport Agency within five days of your appointment or meeting with the Acceptance Agent. Therefore, getting the envelope endorsed and sealed correctly the first time is the best way to do this correctly. We Check List your documents before you go.

The applicant will then tell the Acceptance Agent they are using a passport courier service to hand-carry and expedite the new passport application to the Passport Agency. Then, the Acceptance Agent will give the endorsed and sealed envelope back to the applicant, who will then head over to FedEx to overnight the package to the shipping address given by the 48Hour Agent.
